Chief Financial Officer

Steve Gaven is Chief Financial Officer at ÃÛѨÊÓƵ, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience across finance, strategy and growth in the wealth management and financial services industries. He is known for scaling organizations, driving transformational growth, and building high-performing teams in dynamic, private equity-backed environments. 

Prior to joining EFE, Steve served as Chief Growth Officer at SageView Advisory Group, where he helped lead the firm’s next phase of strategic growth and expansion. Previously, he was Chief Financial Officer of RWA Wealth (formerly Adviser Investments), where he helped redesign the firm’s operating model and expand its capabilities for ultra-high-net-worth and family office clients. Steve has also held senior finance leadership roles at Boston Private Financial Holdings and other financial services organizations, developing deep expertise in mergers and acquisitions, capital management, corporate strategy, and operational finance. 

Steve earned a master’s degree in business administration in finance from the Boston College Carroll School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Providence College.
